Insulation Installation Industry On The Rise

November 10, 2015

What do you see when you look inside the insulation installation industry? The answer is good. According to Market Watch, the global market is expected to rise to nearly $67.2 billion by 2020.

Economic analysts point to several factors for their optimistic forecasts, including increased consumer awareness of the importance of energy conservation. Capitol Machine monitors trends and news developments relating to the insulation industry.

Financial experts expect favorable conditions over most part of the world as foreign governments scale back regulatory control and expand infrastructure. The only shaky area is fluctuating prices of raw materials may ruffle the market.

Fiberglass Holds The Top

Widely used as wall and blanket insulation, fiberglass leads the pack as the industry’s top product accounting for more than 40 percent of the total market in 2013. Analysts predict fiberglass will not only maintain its position but continue to rise in the next five years. Growth in the use of fiberglass is expected to reach 9.1 percent.

Home construction has been the top draw for insulation installation contractors, capturing more than 50 percent of total market revenue, according to Market Watch. This market segment is forecasted to continue to rise as consumers increasingly become aware of the importance of thermal insulation.

The Asia Pacific market is the largest with more than 40 percent of global revenue, Market Watch reported. New construction in China, India and Indonesia is expected to further spur growth in that market share in the next five years.
