For a Few Vacuums More

It’s easy to take insulation for granted. You don’t have to clean it. It doesn’t require daily maintenance. You don’t display it proudly on your coffee table. Insulation is one of those things that just works, and you don’t give it a second thought.

Until Something Goes Wrong.

A leak in the roof can destroy your attic insulation. Water in your insulation can become a veritable petri dish for mold and mildew, which can wreak havoc on your respiratory system. Maybe a frayed wire sparks, leading to a fire that causes extensive damage. Even smoke can impede the effects of insulation.

Actually, Lots of Things Can Go Wrong.

Those are worst case scenarios, but there are other reasons that insulation may have to be removed. Older homes may be insulated with material that has decayed after time, losing its effectiveness. Sometimes, insulation just isn’t thick enough to do what you need. Household pests, such as mice, can make their homes in your insulation, destroying fibers and making a general mess of things. Even gravity works against your insulation, compacting it, ruining its capacity to regulate temperature.

When the time comes to replace insulation, you’ve got to lose the old before you can blow in the new. That’s where we come in.

So Suck it Up.
